Spam Skip is a service run by Ambit New Media. Our general terms are given on our web site at www.ambitnewmedia.com under Legal. Spam Skip is covered by these terms.
Our charges for Spam Skip will be invoiced in advance and will cover the full calendar year. Additional accounts added to the service during the year will incur no additional cost (if the new total of accounts is still 6 or less) or an additional £1 per account (or domain alias) per month. These will be invoiced separately from the original yearly invoice and will cover a year from the date of starting the service for these new accounts.
We will always endeavour to filter out spam and viruses from any e-mail account filtered by Spam Skip. However, we recognise that we are in a constant battle with virus writers, hackers and spammers and cannot give a 100% guarantee that our best endeavours will always succeed. Ambit New Media cannot accept any liablity for viruses or spam that slips through the net.
Since viruses can be very harmful, we always recommend that you protect your computer with more than one 'layer' of virus protection. Just as you might wrap up warm in winter lest your catch a virus, so we recommend that you use more than one anti-virus product. Spam Skip could act as one layer, watching for viruses arriving by email (the most common source today). You should also install a second layer of protection on your PC. You can't expect all anti-virus software to catch all viruses all the time. Today's viruses spread and mutate at a phenomenal speed; however good your anti-virus software you may find that its supplier has not updated its virus signatures in time to catch the latest threat.
